Hat Day to Help Combat Hunger and Poverty at Ridgeview Charter School

Sixth grade students Olivia Koenig, Camryn McLelland, and Megan Echols display their hats that were sold during RCS' Hat Day fundraiser for poverty and hunger. Students raised $1,500 in funds to aid poor and under-resourced families in Haiti and the Dominican Republic through Heifer International (www.heifer.org). Remaining moneys were donated locally to Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless.
