The keynote speaker for this event will be Jonah Lehrer, the author of "Proust was a Neuroscientist" and the instant bestseller, "How We Decide." Lehrer has been called “something of a popular science prodigy” by the New York Times and a man of “considerable talents.” He graduated from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar and is currently a contributing editor at Wired, Scientific American Mind and NPR’s Radio Lab.

Other Celebration of Thought speakers include: Ann McDaniel, VP of the Washington Post Company; Baroness Pauline Perry, Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector for Education in England; Michael Shapiro, Director of the High Museum of Art; Coy Wire, Linebacker & Safety/Atlanta Falcons; William Peebles, Headmaster of the Lovett School; Hannah and Kevin Salwen, Co-authors of the book, “The Power of Half” and Rev. Christopher Henry, Associate Pastor at the Morningside Presbyterian Church.

The cost is $15 for students and teachers, $20 for AGS families and $25 for the general public. Please RSVP at www.agstenth.org.
